Authorities: Elderly Couple Killed in Crash Were Holding Hands

WASHINGTON– An elderly Washington couple killed in a car crash were found in the wreckage holding hands, KREM is reporting.

Authorities told KREM that the 88-year-old woman and 92-year-old man were killed when they pulled out in front of a truck on Sunday night.

Troopers said they had to ask the wife to let go of her husband so they could get him out of the car.

Both of them passed away.

They were married for 68 years and leave behind four children, 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
