OGDEN — A 20-year-old woman was killed in a car accident late Friday night in Ogden.
At approximately 11:20 p.m. officers were called out to a single-vehicle accident in the area of 3463 Airport Road. A 24-year-old man was traveling north when he lost control on a curve and hit a parked trailer, Ogden Police said.
The female passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle, police said. Officers attempted to resuscitate the woman on scene but she later died from her injuries.
The driver was conscious when officers arrived. Police say he was taken to an area hospital and is being treated for a possible broken leg.
Preliminary information suggests alcohol and speed may have played a role in the accident, police said.
