SALT LAKE CITY – Search and rescue crews are helping a woman who became lost while hiking in Big Cottonwood Canyon Saturday.
Authorities said a 37-year-old female was hiking in the Mill-B area when she became lost. Officials said they received the report of the missing woman at about 5:30 p.m.
The woman told officers she was lost, and crews worked for several hours to locate the woman. As of about 10 p.m. Saturday, the woman was with rescue personnel and working her way back down the canyon.
