SALT LAKE CITY — Police are looking for a man accused of trying to rob a Maverik Store with a knife.
The alleged robbery happened Monday night at the Maverik at 676 North Redwood Road.
Officers said a man was holding a knife as he demanded money from the clerk. When the clerk told the suspect that he didn’t have access to the money, the suspect got closer to the clerk and demanded money again.
Police said the suspect noticed someone in the parking lot coming into the store, and he ran off.
Officers said they are still searching for the suspect. He is described as a white adult in his 20s, wearing a dark beanie hat, blue sweatshirt and white pants with a stripe.
No one was injured in the robbery.
