SALT LAKE CITY – Police are investigating after a man died of stab wounds he sustained near a Salt Lake City homeless shelter Wednesday.
Police said a man was taken to a hospital with stab wounds Wednesday around 6 p.m., where he later died of his injuries.
Officials said it wasn’t clear what lead up to the stabbing, but they said it happened near The Road Home, which is a homeless shelter located at 210 South Rio Grand St.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Police are continuing to investigate, and FOX 13 News will have more information as it becomes available.
