- 3T Yeast
- ½ c Oil
- 8 c Flour
- ½ c sugar
- 1 T salt
- 1 nutmeg
- 3 c Warm Water
- 4-5 Eggs, Beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla or Lemon emulsion
- ½ c Brown Sugar
- ½ c Dried Cranberries (soaked)
- ¼ c Cinnamon Chips
- 1 T cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine first 9 ingredients in mixer and knead for 8 minutes or until gluten is developed. Let raise; roll out dough.
Brush butter on dough and then sprinkle on all remaining ingredients. Roll up dough, pinch edge of dough and cut into 1 inch rolls.
Place on cookie sheet, let rise double in size. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Let rolls cool for five minutes and then spread Icing or Brown Butter Sauce.
Brown Butter Sauce
- 1 1/2 cup reserved brown butter
- 2 cup powdered sugar*
- 1 T orange emulsion*
- 1 tsp vanilla extract* or Rumlette
Combine all ingredients and beat until light and fluffy. Serve at room temperature.
