BYU faculty member sixth Utahn to die from flu in 2013-2014 flu season

PROVO, Utah – Health officials have confirmed that another person in Utah has died due to the flu, which brings the total number of flu deaths during the 2013-2014 flu season in the state to six.

Delynne Peay, 62, passed away due to the flu. Peay was the longest-standing faculty member of the dance department at Brigham Young University.

Two Salt Lake County residents died from influenza, and health officials confirmed that three others had died due to the flu in southern Utah.
