COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah — A man is in police custody after he was allegedly caught in the middle of a break-in at a Cottonwood Heights business.
It happened around midnight Friday morning at Wendy’s Beauty Quake, 7831 Highland Dr.
A Cottonwood Heights police officer was conducting business checks and noticed the power was out and a glass door was broken at the business.
Upon further investigation, the suspect was found with a hammer and crowbar, refusing to surrender to police.
A police dog was deployed and bit the man, who was then taken into custody.
“Don’t try it in the Heights,” a CHPD representative said on the department’s twitter account.
