SALT LAKE CITY -- High to extreme avalanche danger was reported for mountains in northern Utah. The Utah Avalanche Center issued advisories for the following areas:
Salt Lake area mountains: danger is high
Ogden area mountains: danger is high
Provo area mountains: danger is high
Skyline area mountains: danger is high
Logan area mountains: danger is high and extreme in some upper elevation terrain.
Uinta area mountains: danger is high, with pockets of extreme areas.
Moab area mountains will rise to “high” danger.
