COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah — Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a store while wielding a knife Sunday.
According to a press release from the Cottonwood Heights Police Department, an adult male robbed a Rite Aid located at 2738 East Fort Union Blvd.
Police said the man approached the cashier, presented a knife and demanded money. The clerk complied, and the man fled on foot.
The suspect, pictured in surveillance images above, is described a white male in his late 20s or early 30s who stands between 5-feet 7-inches and 5-feet 9-inches tall.
The man was last seen wearing dark pants, a greenish long-sleeve shirt and a beanie stocking cap with a horizontal stripe and a small knitted ball on top.
