Atlanta (WGCL) — The Department of Revenue has approved a new license plate that features the Confederate flag in the background.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans made a new version of their license plate available to all Georgia residents.
The plate features a prominent logo of the organization with larger stars and a Confederate battle flag image in the background. The flag also covers the entire license plate.
The plate features a gold frame with the words “Sons of Confederate Veterans” displayed where county names used to appear.
