(CNN) — A Detroit man allegedly shot four people Friday because his tax refund check wasn’t ready, police said.

Three female employees and a male security guard were shot at Tax City, allegedly by a 19-year-old man who was taken into custody about 3:30 p.m., Detroit police Officer Adam Madera told CNN. The conditions of the victims were not available.

The alleged shooter entered Tax City Friday afternoon with two women, police said. One of the women argued with an employee before the shooting started.

A weapon was recovered at the scene, police said.
