SALT LAKE CITY– The Utah men’s team had more on the line than sending off senior Renan Lenz with a win on Saturday.
The Utes were trying to avenge a loss to Colorado at Boulder this season and reach .500 in the PAC-12 conference.
Utah got 21 points apiece from Delon Wright and Jordan Loveridge and their defense was key in a 75-64 win over the Buffaloes. No other Utah players reached double digits in scoring, but as a team the Utes shot 59 percent from the field while holding Colorado to just 39 percent shooting.
Utah (19-9) finishes the season at Cal and Stanford and with a sweep of the Bay area road trip, the Utes could jump from 8th to as high as 4th place in the PAC-12 standings.
