PAROWAN — A portion of State Route 143 in Parowan has been shut down because of a fire at a recycling plant, officials said Sunday.
The road is closed to allow firefighters to pull hoses across 200 South, according to a tweet from the Utah Department of Public Safety. Traffic is being rerouted.
The fire did not cause evacuations and no injuries have been reported, according to Iron County Dispatch.
