LAS VEGAS — San Diego State held Utah State to just 15 points in the first half, as the 8th ranked Aztecs beat the Aggies 73-39 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference Tournament in Las Vegas.
The Aggies missed their nine shots from the field, and the Aztecs jumped out to a 8-0 lead and they never looked back.
Jarred Shaw was the only USU player to score in double figures with 14 points.
Utah State is now 18-14 this season.
