MENDON, Utah — A man was arrested Monday after he allegedly downloaded pornographic images of children in his Mendon home.
Investigators said they arrested Kevin Pence, 28, after serving a search warrant at his home at 150 West 300 North.
Investigators seized several computer and electronic storage items. They said some of those items stored numerous downloaded pornographic images of children.
“I’m concerned about the increased trend of these types of crimes,” Cache County Sheriff Lynn Nelson said in a press release. “For our office to proactively investigate and make an arrest in this case is significant to the safety and quality of life in our valley. I am confident that this investigation saved future victims”.
Pence has been booked into the Cache County Jail. He is charged with 10 counts of exploitation of a minor, all second degree felonies.
