OREM -- The Orem Library and Champion West Karate partnered Friday in a presentation for children about self-defense.
Young martial arts experts demonstrated some of their self-defense skills in the free class.
"They need to know how to handle themselves, how to walk away and how to say no," said Paul Barker, Champion West Karate.
