SALT LAKE CITY– Police are searching for suspects who allegedly fired shots at a man Thursday afternoon after allegedly vandalizing a home.

Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department said the incident occurred in the area near 5765 West Emilion Circle sometime around 4:30 p.m.

Hoyal said two suspects arrived at a home and knocked on the door. When there was no answer, the suspects moved the car into the driveway of the home. A man in the passenger seat then got out and damaged a light. After the light broke, a 28-year-old male came outside and shots were fired at him. Hoyal said it was not clear if one or both of the suspects fired shots.

The man was not hit and no injuries were reported. Bullets hit the home, causing damages.

Police officials did not immediately provide descriptions of the suspects or the vehicle.
