OGDEN — Two dogs were rescued out of the basement of an Ogden home that caught fire Monday evening.
Fire crews responded to 1122 Collins Blvd. on a report of a structure fire, according to tweets from Ogden Fire Department.
All occupants were out of the home and the flames were located and contained to a bedroom.
The blaze was controlled within minutes.
Two dogs were found in the basement of home during a search of the house and are doing well, according to a tweet.
One occupant was displaced and is staying with family.
There were no injuries reported. Cost of damage is estimated to be $5,000.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
