DAVIS COUNTY, Utah – The fairgrounds in Davis County were crawling with thousands of reptiles, amphibians, spiders and other exotic creatures this weekend.
Repticon Salt Lake City was held Saturday and Sunday, and the event featured vendors, breeders and educators,
The convention seeks to give people in the community the chance to learn about exotic animals.
Kylie Koskan participated in Repticon and said it was a great experience.
“A part of it is just the animals and getting to know them and their personalities and being able to care for these unique and individual lives and being able to appreciate their beauty,” she said. “The other side of it is the community. There is actually quite a large reptile community, and a lot of support and a lot of really great people.”
