SALT LAKE CITY -- The American Red Cross has reached out to help people impacted by house fires, and officials with the group are asking for the public's help so they can keep offering assistance.
Red Cross personnel in Utah have responded to nearly a dozen fires in which families needed assistance this week, and officials said since they are responsible for their own revenue they are in need of help.
Rich Woodrufff of the American Red Cross in Utah came to the FOX 13 News Studio Thursday to discuss their efforts on behalf of the victims of fires as well as the ways in which the public can help them meet the needs of those individuals.
