PROVO, Utah – Police have arrested a woman they say was trying to buy meth as a birthday present for her sister.
Officers said 46-year-old Heather Rodriguez approached an off-duty officer and asked to buy meth from him Tuesday.
Police said she admitted she was trying to buy the drug and also that he has a glass pipe.
The woman claimed her sister asked her to get meth for her birthday.
She was booked into the Utah County Jail.
