SOUTH SALT LAKE – Officials said crews who were working to repair a water main break ruptured a natural gas line Saturday afternoon, and 3300 South was closed to traffic for several hours as a result.
Officials said traffic was stopped on 3300 South in both directions between 300 West and West Temple, and the TRAX station at 3300 South was also shut down, but several hours later the closures were lifted.
Chief Bowman with the South Salt Lake Fire Department said Questar personnel were on scene and working to repair the rupture.
