TAYLORSVILLE, Utah – Authorities are investigating what caused a man to crash his SUV into a Taylorsville home overnight.
Officers said 51-year-old William L. Nichols of South Jordan drove his vehicle into a home near 3600 W. and 5400 S. just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Unified Police said Nichols was killed in the crash.
Police said he was speeding and missed the turn, crashing his SUV into the house.
Two people were in the home at the time but they were not injured.
