MIDVALE, Utah – Police have released a photo of a man who has now evaded police three different times, and officers are hoping the public can help them locate the man.

Police were following up on a tip regarding a fugitive going to a residence in Midvale Saturday; the man was riding as a passenger in a car when it was stopped, and he fled on foot when officers stopped the vehicle.

According to information from the Unified Police Department, 31-year-old Cody James Carpenter allegedly fled from police on a stolen motorcycle Wednesday. The man also escaped from police in a vehicle on Friday. Both pursuits were ended due to concerns about speed and the traffic conditions.

Police stated they set up a containment Saturday in the area where the man fled, and they searched with the help of K9 teams. The suspect was not found and officials cancelled the search.

Photos of Carpenter have been released, and police ask anyone who sees him or who may know where he is to contact the Unified Police Department at 801-743-7000.

The man, pictured above, is described as a Caucasian male who stands 5-feet 10-inches tall and has a slender build. The man has a double tear tattoo near his left eye, a shaved head and blue eyes.
