ST. GEORGE, Utah — In the wake of news about an Ebola outbreak overseas, a local airline is preparing their staff to know what to look for.

Administrators at Skywest Airlines sent out information on the disease to their flight attendants as part of a periodic review of policies and procedures.

A spokesperson for the St. George-based airline said they’re not concerned about the disease spreading through their regional airline, but want their staff to recognize symptoms should someone infected be on board.

The spokesperson said all their planes are equipped with a communicable disease kit, which is used to help sick patients until they can get medical attention.
