SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah – Police are looking for a group of car burglars who targeted several homes in Saratoga Springs overnight.
Police are searching for five or six suspects who broke into at least six different vehicles in the same neighborhood overnight, and surveillance camera footage from the incident has been released.
Several suspects can be seen in the footage, and the victims said the thieves took a tool box full of electronic equipment as well as cash. Of the cars that were burglarized, some were locked and some were not.
Police said the suspects are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s and they said at least one suspect is female. The suspects were last seen in a white or light-colored Lincoln Town Car-type vehicle.
FOX 13 News' Todd Tanner spoke with one of the victims, see the video above for her comments as well as footage of the theft. Police officials said they encourage car owners to make sure to lock their doors and to keep their valuables out of sight or somewhere other than inside their car.
