SYRACUSE, Utah -- Cheerleaders from more than 22 schools banded together Monday to show support for the family of 15-year-old Marli Hamblin.

Marli was sunbathing and listening to music when her sister accidentally backed a pickup truck over her.  Marli was about to start her sophomore year at Syracuse High School, where she would have been a member of the school's cheerleading squad.

Girls from squads all over Davis and Weber Counties lined up along the procession route after Marli's funeral.

"If we lost one of our own, it would be like losing part of our heart. So, we just wanted to let them know that we love them and support them," said Melissa Payne, an assistant coach at Syracuse Arts Academy.

Marli's teammates also held a fundraiser for her family over the weekend.
