Police looking for suspects in Midvale shooting; victim in serious condition

MIDVALE, Utah -- An 18-year-old man was shot early Monday morning in Midvale, and officials from the Unified Police Department hope the public can help them identify the suspects.

Police received multiple calls around 1:30 regarding a shooting in the area of 350 E 7200 S. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a trail of blood leading from a vandalized white Cadillac to a nearby apartment.

The victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

"As the investigation's been ongoing, we have obtained very limited suspect information," said Lt. Justin Hoyal, UPD.

Police have been interviewing resident of the area and are looking for a white Toyota Camry that may be connected to the shooting.
