ST. GEORGE, Utah — A St. George man was arrested Monday afternoon on suspicion of threatening FBI agents repeatedly over the past several days.

Robert V. Zickella Jr., 49, was booked in the Washington County Jail on a charge of threat of terrorism, a second-degree felony.

Over the past several days, Zickella called the FBI office and left messages threatening to blow up the building and rape FBI agents and their families, according to a probable cause statement from St. George police.

It was reported that Zickella called the FBI 112 times.

“There were numerous messages where Robert threatened to blow up the FBI building,” the probable cause statement indicated.

Zickella was found at Rodeway Inn, 999 E. Red Hills Parkway.

He was taken into custody without incident.

His bail has been sent at $10,000.
