WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah – UTA FrontRunner passengers should expect delays after one of the trains hit a pedestrian.
According to South Davis Metro Fire, the train hit a person near 400 N. on the tracks in West Bountiful just before noon Thursday.
First responders said the person was conscious, breathing and suffered a cut to their leg.
Their injuries are not life-threatening.
The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.
Officials have not said why the person was on the tracks in the first place.
Authorities said drivers should avoid the area.
