DRAPER — Convicted wife-killer Dr. Martin MacNeill has begun serving a prison sentence for forcible sex abuse.

The Utah Department of Corrections released MacNeill’s prison mugshot to FOX 13 on Tuesday, the first day he began serving a 1-15 year sentence. He had previously been housed at the Utah County Jail.

MacNeill was sentenced on Monday for forcible sex abuse, accused of groping one of his daughters.

MacNeill will be sentenced on Friday for murder in the 2007 death of his wife, Michele. Utah County prosecutors contend he drugged and drowned her so he could carry on an affair with another woman.
