WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah - Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that closed SR 201 overnight.
Utah Highway Patrol Troopers said a car was driving down SR 201 near 4700 W. at about 11 p.m. Wednesday when a suspect shot at the vehicle, hitting the driver in the shoulder.
The passenger in the car was not hurt and the driver is expected to recover.
Troopers said witnesses, including the passenger, are working with them to track down the suspects.
UHP said the suspect's vehicle was a 4-door white car.
