PROVO, Utah -- One of the most famous athletes to ever play football for Brigham Young University has been inducted into the school's Hall of Fame, and Jim McMahon's jersey, No. 9, will be retired.
A ceremony is planned for halftime of the BYU vs Utah State University game Friday night, and earlier in the day McMahon spoke to media at a press conference about the honor bestowed on him.
McMahon's career extended beyond BYU into the NFL, where he won two Super Bowls.
FOX 13 Sports' Bailey McMurdie has more on McMahon's induction, see the video above for her report.
