MURRAY, Utah — A Murray man hospitalized after nearly drowning at Willow Pond Park died Sunday, according to officials.
The 37-year-old was at the pond with his wife and kids Saturday playing with a remote control boat, Murray police say. When the boat stopped working, the man went into the water to get it and for an unknown reason, went under.
Police say they expect to release the name of the victim Monday.
