SALT LAKE CITY — A 10-year-old boy has been found safe after he went missing Friday night, according to Salt Lake City police Saturday.
Michael Torstenson was staying at a friend’s house, according to a tweet from Salt Lake City police.
Michael’s mother told police her son has been testing his curfew and staying out later the last couple of nights.
The boy’s mother reported him missing Friday night when he didn’t return from playing at a friend’s house.
According to police, Michael went to play at friend’s house after school and left between 5 and 6 p.m. Police say the boy told his friend he was going to the Day-Riverside branch of the City Library, 1575 W. 1000 North.
