SUNSET, Utah – Authorities have a 20-year-old man in custody after they said he led them on a chase in Davis County overnight.
Sunset Police said an officer pulled over a car near Main Street and 13th North at about midnight.
As the officer walked to the car, the driver sped off.
A Davis County deputy saw the car and chased it for about 10 blocks before the car jumped a curb, hit a parked delivery truck and sheered of the side of a bike shop ending stuck in an embankment.
From there the driver ran to a nearby Smith’s where he was arrested.
He is now facing a felony charge for running from officers and other misdemeanor charges.
The suspect’s identity has not been confirmed at this time.
