SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah – County Sheriff James “Jim” Winder (D) beat Jake Peterson to keep his place as Salt Lake County Sheriff.
James “Jim” Winder of the Democratic Party: 60.92 percent of the vote with 119,607 votes.
Jake Petersen of the Republican party: 39.08 percent of the vote with 76,725 votes.
