Atlanta, GA (WGCL) — Atlanta police said a grandmother wound up in handcuffs after attacking a child on the school bus.
According to an Atlanta Police Department spokesman, Claudette Peters went to drop her grandson off at a bus stop Wednesday morning.
She got on the bus and talked to the driver about a child who got into a fight with her grandson the day before.
While talking to the driver, Peters reportedly spotted the student sitting on the bus, ran down the aisle and hit the child in the head.
Peters got off the bus, but was soon found by police.
The grandmother was charged with battery and booked into the Fulton County Jail.
