Brighton Ski Resort opens for 2014-2015 season

BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah — Brighton Ski Resort is the first Utah ski resort to open for the 2014-2015 season.

The resort officially opens at 9 a.m. Tuesday, when avid skiers and snowboarders will be among the first to ride up the resort’s Majestic and Explorer chairlifts and glide back down this season.

Brighton Ski Resort is offering lift tickets for $37 on opening day. Veterans and active military members may ski and snowboard for free on opening day.
