DRAPER, Utah — Police in Draper have found an elderly woman in good condition Friday night after she walked away from a care center earlier that day.
According to a missing person’s advisory, 83-year-old Bonnie Jean Winnie was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. at a care center, located at 12702 South Fort St., which is near 950 East.
Winnie was found about a block away from the care center several hours later. Officials brought in a helicopter to assist in the search.
Winnie was considered endangered because she suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
