WEST VALLEY CITY – Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a precious metals store in West Valley City on Wednesday.
Police said the man entered Utah Gold Buyers, 2630 West 3500 South, just after 2:30 p.m. and displayed a knife.
The suspect fled after receiving a small amount of cash.
Officers said the man was wearing a black skeleton mask, a gray hooded sweater and blue jeans. The mas was located a short distance from the store.
Police were using bloodhounds in an attempt to track the suspect using the mask he left behind.
