TIBBLE FORK, Utah – Authorities have found the missing skier near the Tibble Fork base camp Monday.

The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office said it got a call about a man who had been skiing in Alta Sunday and was overdue.

The missing 61-year-old man called his sister just before 6 a.m. Monday and she told authorities she thought he might have hypothermia.

Wasatch County Search and Rescue, Utah County Search and Rescue and back country ski teams from Alta and Brighton Ski resorts worked together to find the missing man.
