LAS VEGAS -- The BYU women’s basketball team is back in the NCAA tournament after beating San Francisco 76-65 Tuesday in the West Coast Conference championship game in Las Vegas.
Junior Guard Lexi Eaton led BYU with 22 points, senior forward Morgan Bailey scored 20 points, and sophomore guard Makenzi Morrison added 19 points in the win.
BYU won two games in the NCAA tournament last season before losing to the eventual champions Connecticut in the Sweet 16.
