HURRICANE, Utah — Hurricane police captured a man accused of robbing a pharmacy at gunpoint as he was leaving the scene of the crime.
Jonathan S. Forest, 37, is accused of robbing Hurricane Family Pharmacy, 870 W 400 N, around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police said Forest was found in possession of prescription medications taken from the pharmacy and a black airsoft gun that was missing its orange tip.
“Those involved in this incident did a great job to ensure their safety and provided detailed information. Based on that information, Officers were able to locate the suspect within 6 minutes of the incident,” a statement from the Hurricane Police Department said.
Forest faces a charge of aggravated robbery. He was booked into the Washington County Jail.
No one was injured in the incident.
