SALT LAKE CITY -- It's been a record-breaking event in years past, and Wednesday Salt Lake Comic Con announced their plans for 2015.
This is the third year Salt Lake Comic Con will be held, and the event is scheduled for September 26-28.
The event attracts a number of celebrity guests, and this year’s lineup will include Ian Somerhalder of “The Vampire Diaries”, Austin St. John of “Power Rangers” fame, and Alex Kingston--who played River Song on “Doctor Who.”
The previous two years have seen enormous turnouts, and Bryan Brandenburg, co-founder of Salt Lake Comic Con, said they are continuing to expand.
“It’s going to be bigger than before, that is for sure,” he said. “But it’s not about the size, as we really want to have people come and feel like, you know, it’s the best entertainment value for their dollar."
Event organizers also announced that they would have a more streamlined set up for ticketing, and they said there will be fewer vendors so that walkways on the convention floor can be wider.
