TOOELE, Utah – Authorities are investigating what caused a family’s motor home to burst into flames in Tooele.
Police said a family was dropping off their camper in Settlement Canyon at about 11 p.m.
The father got out to open an entry gate and heard his daughter scream the engine compartment was on fire.
It took 30 firefighters and six engines to put out the flames.
The family told fire crews the camper had been in storage for a few years.
Officials said a fuel line may be to blame and are investigating.
