WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Police are looking for the driver of a white passenger car involved in a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of 3500 South and 2800 West shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday.
West Valley City police said a 35-year-old man was walking his bicycle across the intersection when a car hit him and then left the area. The man, who was in a crosswalk, was knocked to the ground and rendered temporarily unconscious.
Police said the victim suffered only minor injuries, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
So far the only description of the vehicle is a white passenger car. Anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and who may have seen something that could help investigators is encouraged to contact police.
