VALENCIA, Calif. — A 10-year-old girl has died after losing consciousness on a roller coaster at the Magic Mountain theme park in Valencia, California.
According to a report by KTLA-TV, the girl was riding the Revolution roller coaster on Friday and she was unconscious but breathing when she returned to the station.
A representative for the Los Angeles County Fire Department told KTLA the girl was taken by helicopter to a local hospital and died on Saturday.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified the girl as Jasmine Martinez of Somis, Calif.
It is unclear if the girl’s loss of consciousness was ride-related or part of a pre-existing condition.
