SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah — Police were asking for the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old boy who was last seen around midnight Thursday in Saratoga Springs, but a short time after sending the initial press release police stated the teen had been found and is safe.
According to a press release from the Saratoga Springs Police Department, 14-year-old Matthew Marquez was last seen by his family late Wednesday or early Thursday around midnight.
A second press release from police sent at 7:31 p.m. Thursday stated the teen was “located quickly after this press release was released to the public. Matthew is doing well and is home safe. The Saratoga Springs Police Department would like to thank each of you for your assistance in putting this information out to the public. It was a team effort which ended on a happy note. Again, we appreciate all of your help.”
